Itinerary Detail:
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and start an amazing day with the following sightseeing activities:
• Tiger Arena – Where elephants and tigers once battled during the Nguyen Dynasty.
• Elephant Temple – A sacred site where war elephants were buried and their riders honored.
• Silk painting workshop – One of Hue’s most famous traditional handicrafts.
• Incense stick workshop – An essential item in temples, used for ceremonies and daily worship.
We continue cycling along the verdant paths of Thuy Bieu Village, stopping to visit a local family. Here, you can relax in a green garden, soak your feet in a basin of soothing herbal water, and try your hand at making traditional sesame candies. You will also learn how to prepare “Banh Nam”, a popular Hue specialty made from rice flour or tapioca starch, and enjoy the dumplings you have made.
After lunch, we keep cycling along scenic roads before leaving Thuy Bieu Village by dragon boat on the Huong (Perfume) River. The journey continues with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, listen to the pagoda bell, and discover stories from the time of Lord Nguyen Hoang.
Next, we visit the Imperial Citadel, the former home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty. At the end of the day, we explore Dong Ba Market, Hue's largest and most vibrant market.
The tour will conclude at your hotel.
